Show #55 – Let’s Try This Again

After a technical snaffu last week, we’re back. We were banking on a lot of cool stuff to talk about coming out of the Tokyo Game Show, but not much happened. We do have some new Halo news, some Sony firmware annoucements, and Mike’s favorite, Guitar Hero prices. A questionable Great American Ajguy Gaming Quiz and some fun times with Warhammer Online and Sonic Chronicles rounds out the show.

It is with great regret and a heavy heart…

…that I must say there will be no podcast this week. In a week in which Murphy’s Law has been in full effect, something got screwed up with the audio files and it just cannot be saved. So many apologies. Just so you know, we would have talked about the DSi, Mega Man 9, Sonic Chronicles, and I sort of won the quiz.

Show #54 – Blue and Cyan

The biggest news story of 2008 draws to a close with the release of Mega Man 9. Or does it? While Ajguy holds out for the 360 version, Mike has already conquered the Wii version. And did someone say DLC? Plus we talk Warhammer Online, The Witcher, and Samba de Amigo. A truly epic Great American Ajguy Gaming Quiz and a bevy of MMO news rounds out this week’s episode.

Join our new addiction to Warhammer Online, thrill to talks of galactic conquest in Spore, and join us for a special post show, spoilerific discussion of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and The Return of More Jedi We Never Knew About Before.

No Show This Week Due to Power Outages

While I’m riding high and dry in Pittsburgh, Mike is currently looking at the next few days with no power. As such there will be no show this week (Though I may cobble something together. No promises!). Winds that came as a result of Hurricane Ike tore through northeast Ohio yesterday leaving ours and thousands of other homes without power due to trees falling on power lines and things of the such.

While that may be the extent of Ike’s damage to us, countless others have not been so fortunate in the area directly hit by the hurricane. I’m going to take this moment to focus our small but awesome community by asking you guys to help out those in need after a pretty rough hurricane season. Please donate to the Red Cross or your favorite charity to help those in need. We should be back in full force next week with an epic show for you all.
